let’s have a little detective love! these two aren’t mentioned very much in canon, and the way lestrade is written seems to be all over the place, but I would like to see them suss each other out back in an era when things were much more suppressed, and sussing out/dropping hints to another police officer would have been very dangerous indeed! the rest doesn’t matter as much to me, it’s the dance I’m interested in.
