If I Could Tell You © Krystal Published: July 2009 When I see you in the morning it brightens up my day there are so many thoughts on my mind so many words I want to say I want to tell you how I feel but the words I can not find they're all mixed up with my thoughts that are running through my mind I've been keeping it locked up because I know there's not a chance you never look my way you don't even take a glance You don't even know you're doing this toying with my heart I wish I could just tell you but I don't know where to start Should I tell you how much you mean to me or how bad I want to be with you if I were to say these things how would you react, what would you do Would you never talk to me again would you never look my way that would just bring me back to where I am today Then I'd start all over and choose a different route to make you understand my feelings that want out I don't know what to do or even how to say maybe I should lock it up and keep myself away My heart would ache even more but maybe for the good I just really want to tell you only if I could.
True Friends © Mermaid Published: May 2015 True friends are by your side through it all. True friends are there to catch you when you fall. True friends give your life a happy lift. True friends are a most precious gift. True friends will care about you forever. True friends want to be with you on every endeavor. True friends can make you laugh and cry. True friends can be girls or guys. True friends can get mad at each other. True friends can be your sisters or brothers. True friends will never truly leave you. True friends will love you no matter what you do. True friends really know you but love you anyway. True friends are those who are always asking you if you're okay. True friends know that hate is a very strong word. True friends don't believe every story they've heard. True friends will tell you the truth, even if it's not what you want to hear. True friends are always there with a hug and a listening ear. True friends will tell you things that are true. True friends will do anything they can to help you. True friends love to spend time with you. True friends love to tease you too. True friends tease all in good fun. True friends don't care if you've lost or won. I will love you forever, my friend. I will stay by your side until the very end. You'll be in my heart, as I pray for you each day. You are my truest friend in every way. Source: https://www.familyfriendpoems.com/poem/true-friends-4
My hut , My mansion bluestarfall Apr 2015 I have been living in these huts lately, As this life seems aimless and desultory, Slowly flowing like the splash of drops over the board, Hallelujah . For me, it's still our God's handwritten story. Two cents quietly sit in my little pockets , And they still fit perfectly in each, Same as our feelings, as they huddle around our hearts, Occupying the bijou portions and trying not to leach. I will hold on till the day, staggering away, In my tattered clothes, till the color withers and my story stales, Lingering in the huts, with a hue of nostalgia, Ailing but not wailing, after a series of massive fails. Before God finishes writing my story, I believe he will hand me the pen, its a fact, not a lie, And with you by my side, I will scribble my glory, I'll dress you your Gossamer, and myself a Suit and a tie.
Finding Hope © Patricia A. Fleming Published: July 8, 2017 I've always viewed life from the side lines, Just watching it passing me by, In the past too afraid to just let go and live, And lately too tired to try. I've envied the people around me, So invested in living each day, While I spent my time hiding out from the world, And searching for ways to escape. For most of my life, I truly believed, I was here to help somebody else, But now it's so clear it was just an excuse. To avoid living life for myself. It's sad that our lives and the pain we endure, Can weaken our strength to move on, But if we get lost in the scars of our past, Without knowing our lives will be gone. It's true people are disappointing, They can turn in the blink of an eye, But we can't avoid hurting each other, When we all want a chance at this life. But there's something I've learned through the wisdom of age, A truth about all of our lives, And that is nomatter what path we each take, In the end, we just want to survive. So the time has now come to conquer my fears, And to stand up and face a new day, Let the hurts of my past wash away with my tears, And stop letting my life slip away. Welcome In a corner of a trailer park they have a wooden gazebo With wooden picnic tables all around Every night people of all ages come together. The elderly tell all kinds of stories that keep everyone Spell bound. Some are hell bound To try to out do the other. In a corner of a trailer park they have a wooden gazebo With wooden picnic tables all around There are people listening to the tall tales with out Making a sound. As more people gather The elderly tell all kinds of stories that keep everyone Spell bound Before you know it more people are here sitting on the Ground. Once in a while you'll hear Really brother? In a corner of a trailer park they have a wooden gazebo With wooden picnic tables all around Supposedly sleeping under the first table is the blood- Hound That pulled a man out of quicksand before he was Smothered. The elderly tell all kinds of stories that keep everyone Spell bound. Then I found As I stepped in to the gazebo a sign that read Welcome To Liars Corner they can out do any one on any subject Matter! In a corner of a trailer park they have a wooden gazebo With wooden picnic tables all around The elderly tell all kinds of stories that keep everyone Spell bound.
