Had a thought... Emilie got sick from the overuse of a broken miraculous, which (in my theory) is what tethers the Kwami to the world in a more physical form, not their god forms. I think Marinette is showing similar symptoms to Em not from overuse, but over exposure to pure miraculous magic, which is bad for humans. (like how Zeus killed one of his lovers by showing her his divine form) maybe the only way for her to start getting better is to find Imago a vessel so his big magic juju has somewhere to go? Or I'm just looking waaay to into things instead of doing homework? anyways, glad to hear you're doing better, you're doing amazing things!
