It's not "dark erotic fiction" it's you jacking off to rape and pedophilia. There's a difference between dark themes in your stories and sexualizing shit that affects real people. I cannot handle being around self-aggrandizing sex predators who refuse to understand the basic psychology of fiction affecting reality. Argue with the wall and leave me alone.

Happy Pride everyone, today is the tenth anniversary of the nationwide right to gay Marriage in the United States and the 22nd anniversary of nationwide legalization of Gay Sex. In 2 days is the 56th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
We have won nothing without fighting and we have everything to lose, there is no gay liberation without trans liberation, none of us are free till all of us are free, we have won so much and come so far but the road ahead is still long, we must continue to fight for both our liberation and the liberation of all people
The gay liberation movement is young, everything we have fought for and won happened over the course of less than a human lifetime, and there are forces at play that wish to claw back at these hard fought for rights, we must be prepared to defend what we have fought for and we must continue to fight for improvement
We have to celebrate how far things have come, because we never would have made it this far without joy and hope, and while we can and must fight, we also must remain hopeful

And re: SI Nick. I was always torn between him being a smoker and a witch. You did a very good job on him. I always imagined Ellis would end up as a hunter, and Nick helping him while he was sick/turning would be one of his last memories. Maybe he'd roam around looking for him again.
Maybe one day they'll bump into each other as zombies and find a nice dark warehouse to hide in together.

First of all, to answer your first section- I LOVE MAKING FAN CONTENT. Left 4 Dead 2 has a very special place in my heart and I have been an active fan since I was 14 years old. The first time I ever experienced this game was when I was visiting my brother in Missouri and playing it with him.
(It was the sugarcane Hard Rain level and he was helping guide me thru the sugarcane on the edge of the field and he said "yea so far they dont attack you as much over here so be alert".)
It was a shit show but it was SO fun. and ever since then Ive been a die hard fan. My first cosplay was Nick, and my now husband and I cosplayed Nick and Ellis when we were dating. Hell, I even ran an ask blog in 2012/2013! Im 29 years old now and my love for this franchise has not died down really at all. I will always stubbornly exist in a fandom and game franchise even if half of the fans are hateful bigots. they can die mad about it.
And now to expand on the sad infected AU
I have so many different scenarios about how the infection started, and despite how much I genuinely dislike a certain authors fanfic about hunter Ellis and uninfected Nick, part of me thinks that some cases of infected victims can "come back" from infection. So as sad as it is, I think they would be okay in the end. Maybe. But I always headcanoned that special infected retained some of their memories and experiences even after full turn. Maybe somatic memories, or similar to how someone with repressed memories via ptsd can still vaguely remember things thru senses. And they would absolutely find each other and something would connect in their brain that they know each other but they dont know how, but being each other's presence gives each other calmness and safety.
I've spent the past month cooped up in a motel in Orange County planning my theft, before I steal the sign I will set off a cache of fireworks I've placed 5 blocks away from the nearest police station which will rain down on the pigs, the perfect diversion.
