Okay I NEED the legal loophole marriage fic AAAAAAA that is just EVERYTHING
OKAY so the premise is that a job gone wrong lands Arthur and a very much still on the run Dom in the States. They contact Eames to help get them out but before they can get everything set the Feds swoop in. Dom makes it out; Arthur and Eames, however, end up in police custody. In an attempt to protect them from having to testify against each other, Eames lies and says they're married. They're released on bond but know they're in too precarious of a position to make a run for it just yet, so their only option in the meantime is to keep up appearances and pretend to be married until they can find a way out of the country
It's going to have EVERYTHING- pining, bed sharing, accidental (and increasingly NON-accidental) cuddling, both of them being lovesick idiots. Now I just have to actually finish writing it 😅
