Genuine question. How hot is it down there. The Institute being surrounded by lava and all... how do you cope
You get…used to it. There are spots further down beneath the crumbling earth where it’s cooler— but the air is thicker from thermal venting. The air pressure here is a lot heavier and puts a lot of strain on older guests— but those in good health learn to cope with it.
Just play it safe. Would hate to have another weak guest die due to transport.
Has the Admin ever actually given you some sort of recognition or praise for all the work you do? I'm worried about you :(

How exactly did the iron breathtaker come to be? Has it always been a thing or is it a more recent form of... punishment? Regardless, I do not plan on doing anything to get in there 💀
It’s a very interesting story, actually. In the first days of the Institute, it used to be part of instant manufacturing for iron golems! Though with the surplus of…misfits and the Admin’s lack of…sympathy— which I of course respect— it was demolished and scrapped.
The remains of it I wanted to keep as vintage history; I learned after an Associate got stuck that it could be used for good conditioning. The poor thing…
