Taking away Beruma's "Sleuth" label would likely be problematic in-game, but it isn't so in a story-wise setting, I believe. Even in the game, it doesn't make sense for a club filled mainly with physically Incapable teenagers who don't even take photography seriously to try to walk around a school to catch some sort of murderer in the act. I know that's the whole point of the Photography Club, but once again, considering the lack of character-building in the game, the whole function seems as robotic as it is.
Anyway, back to Beruma. I've given her the "teacher's pet" label because I'm sure that her love of learning does leave her trust in the physically-trained staff rather than her own camera or even her friends. Perhaps Fureddo since he's the only one who's been trained, but definitely not if a teacher is in screaming range.
I think that Beruma's smarts, responsibility, and talent make up for almost her whole club's general laziness or laxness rather than just Dafuni's. If a staff member walks in, it's either her or Fureddo who explains that they're either on a break or are comparing their photos to images for references.
Unlike her clubmates, she dislikes anything that she doesn't deem necessary (as stated above), such as socializing, parties, gossip, and more so long as it is outside of her club. Even despite this, she's the second or third most dependable student in the club (definitely outside of Fureddo and maybe Rojasu).
