I come home from work and you are already there waiting for me, cooking a meal for us in the kitchen. I put the flowers that I brought in the vase and fill it with water from the kitchen sink tap and place it next to you and I inhale the aroma of fresh home cooked food coming from the pan as you sauté the veggies, you smile at my reaction and drop a kiss on my head, I hug you from your side and you put your one arm around me and ask me about my day and as I tell you all about it, you bring up your forefinger with some food on it for me to taste and I lick it and tell you that it tastes delicious, we spend the evening together just eating, talking, laughing and just being in each other’s company feels like the only place we ever wanna be, near each other, always home. You tell me that you can spend your whole life always waiting for me to come home everyday and I tell you that I always wanna come home to you everyday.
