This week's dinosaur: Edmontosaurus

Edmontosaurus was a species of terrestrial hadrosaurid dinosaur that roamed North America during the late Cretaceous period. These large ornithopods are thought to have reached 12 meters (39 ft) in length and weighed upwards of 5.6 metric tons, the equivalent of an average African Elephant.

Their name means "connected lizard from Edmonton".

Neat quick dino post. Alvarezsaurs really liven up the 'small theropod' scene-there's just something about the mix of lightweight frame & little stubby spur arms.

Plus they are just so cute and plush! I would love one for a pet (if it isn't too hard lol)

I haven't done a dinosaur post in an age, so.

This is Shuvuuia, an alvarezsaur from Mongolia. It's about 2 feet high at the hips, 6 feet from nose to tail, and weighs 20-25 lbs. It likely ate insects, particularly termites and ants, and was likely a prey item for dinosaurs like Velociraptor and Gigantoraptor.

I'm really having a hard time telling if my boyfriend is actually transphobic or he's just trying to fit in with our discord friends.

Like yesterday we were joking and stuff on discord and this guy joined the VC and stared being really transphobic towards me (I'm pretty openly trans) and started calling me the t word and I really don't like confrontation especially because I was just trying to have a good time so I just let him say this stuff and tried to change the subject.

Well the problem is that my boyfriend usually calls me by my name and uses he/them pronouns most of the time but when our friends start joking about me being trans he starts using she/her or it to refer to me. And this used to be a one off thing but after a while I don't even want to talk to our friends anymore because I'm basically just a punching bag for them.

I think I know what to do but I don't want to do it, I know I'm being stupid it's not that big of a deal but it really bothers me

I'm tired and sad all the time for no real reason, also most days I don't wanna get out of bed to eat or use the bathroom, hm is that what depression is? Pfft no I'm just being tricked by the media into thinking I have depression
