I feel like I should tell you the other day a few weeks back I learned that Canada has a society for like doctor who. It’s like the Canadian society of doctor who. And I saw one of those… rolling gun robots

I forgot to tell you but I was so flabbergasted by the tags on this post that I out loud said “oh my god” and then my dad asked me what was up and I didn’t know what to say so I ended up reading the tags to him and then we talked about misogyny over our dinner (which is actually a normal thing for me and my dad)

I forgot to tell you but I saw a dvd of doctor who the other day and hadn’t been more freaked out in ages. It was like a animation collection

omg it was probably one of the animated lost episodes!! basically the bbc lost the footage of a lot of episodes from the 60s/early 70s because they kept the rolls of tape in archives that kept partially burning down or just straight up losing the rolls of tape. so the visuals of several early dr who episodes are lost media. but they still have the audio and scripts for most of those episodes so during the revival they animated a lot of the missing footage.... like a lot of the macra terror (<3) or faceless ones. so a lot of dr who dvds are for (partially) animated episodes because the footage is gone now
