Dinosaur challenge - Days 7-12
day 7: favourite bird: Major-Mitchell’s Cockatoo ‒ I love all birds, but cockatoos are my favourites, because they’re cute and silly, and they have nice colours. This one is my favourite bird mostly because of its beautiful colours.
day 8: a dinosaur with generally accurate features (aka no naked raptors!) stylised in a few different ways: Sinosauropteryx ‒ This was really fun to do. These styles are my “normal” dinosaur style, cute cartoony style and other cartoony style, which is more… villain-like.
day 9: a hybrid of any two dinosaurs: Dimorphodon + carnotaurus ‒ I know dimorphodons are actually pterosaurs, not actually dinosaurs. But I wanted to make a flying creature with horns and spikes, kinda like a dragon…
day 10: a dinosaur sleeping: Deinocheirus ‒ This was pretty hard to draw, and I don’t really like how it turned out. Oh well.
day 11: a dinosaur family: Guanlong ‒ Guanlongs are one of my favourite theropods. I loved drawing those babies.
day 12: dinosaur(s) playing: Buitreraptors playing with a fish ‒ I don’t know if it looks like they’re playing, but… they’re trying, okay?
DINOSAUR CHALLENGE ‒ Days 1-6
day 1: favourite theropod: Oviraptor ‒ My heart has always had this one special place for oviraptors (or citipatis). They’re just... really pretty and neat.
day 2: favourite sauropod: Isisaurus ‒ They look so ridiculous, yet sympathetic. Their name also makes me laugh - isi means “daddy” in Finnish.
day 3: favourite ornithopod: Lambeosaurus ‒ As a kid I had these dinosaur play cards, and lambeosaurus looked like a kangaroo in its card. That made me fall in love with these fellas.
day 4: favourite overall dinosaur: Microraptor ‒ Microraptor has been my favourite dinosaur for as long as I can remember. I love them because they’re small and look a LOT like birds. Fun fact: green is my favourite colour, so I made my favourite dino green.
day 5: favourite maniraptoran: Sinornithosaurus ‒ They’re cute. I love maniraptorans, so this one was really hard to choose.
day 6: favourite ceratopsian: Nedoceratops ‒ It always looks so confused in pictures (even though this one I drew looks kinda angry), so I kinda relate to it, especially since its name means "insufficient horned face".
Dinosaur challenge Day 15: make up a believeable dinosaur I have no idea if this type of hadrosaurid existed. In fact I never drew one before. So could someone who knows whats what tell me if I made any grave mistakes?
Dinosaur Challenge Day 14: “dinosaur luv. courtship or mating or something”
I uhm am not really the person to ask for NSFW stuff, so instead I offer you two dilos during a mateing dance wich I like to think includes mimiking each others movements. Want to know what my favorite mateing dance is though? https://youtu.be/SFwgCh1hh4U
Dinosaur Challenge 13: Wild speculation How wild are we actually talking here? Like... this wild?
Or no boundary wild?
after that random advertisement, we now return to our regular program!
Day, 12 of the dinosaur challenge: playing dinosaurs
I like to think that if crows do it, dinosaurs did it too. so here have some Yutyrannus play in the snowwww
