rebirth, retribution, revelations

i am once again drawing out dion's book looks. i had his feet so small before...

rebirth: dion is trying to blend in and be covert. lots of layers and is taking care of himself to the point he's functional, but not much more.

retribution: shorter shorts...cause that's how i imagine him. he's fooling himself that he can be a villain and reconnect with the rangers, and ortega. he has a recklessly small amount of layers. he's taking better care of himself. he's even re-dyed his hair like how he had when he was sidestep.

revelations: people in their thirties can have an emo phase too. the lines are blurred. it's all a mess. he's trying to regain control. but also the mask is off in many ways.

wip from ages ago of dion and andy as they are in my story.

dion the new villain, andy the established villain he breaks out of prison to play his sidekick. they have an adversarial relationship at first cause dion thinks he can control her and andy won't be controlled. but they're also alike in alot of ways.

and who can hop in the bath with you to make a show of not caring about your tattoos, and how can you not find it hard to hide your disdain at the attempt.

because either this is a trap you have blindly walked into again . . . or he really does love you and could have loved you all this time. and despite all that-

you cannot turn from the path that you are on.

repost of Echo's armour design

heavily inspired by some storm concept art and went with a ruiner/wrench aesthetic for the head. i also imagine echo being able to have glitched faces across his helmet when he talks, which he takes from people in the crowd etc. but i think nowadays i imagine more just a black glass helmet

his cape is based on modern capes. it’s all kept closed by the magnets so it’s still easy to rip off. like his sidestep jacket, dion uses the big fabric to conceal his movements early in fights. however, this covers more of his body than the sidestep coat as dion is now less interested in all-round strength and speed, then he is on solely speed and telepathy

when you break a villain out of jail cause she's easy to manipulate but turns out she's insane and she bites people

decided i’m going to do all the ambitious pieces i keep putting off until ‘my skill improves’ cause you can only improve by doing

plus using more procreate features like perspective grid. used a good few refs for dion, have not refed andy yet because her body is so exaggerated but she’s posed very awkward atm
