omg thank you for bringing this topic to my blog....... it is so devastating. it is so real. so many aspects to it. thinking of the first ever moment phil might've thought dan was cute (when he was just 18!!!!!) thinking of dan howell emo nihilist edgelord with his bright silly whacky boyfriend who thinks HE is cute. thinking of older sibling dan and younger sibling phil and phil thinking HE IS CUTE. thinking of how sweet dan must feel inside whenever phil says it too. it is so true we see loverboy dan near-constantly but the moment loverboy phil emerges it is a category 5 event. dan being very aware of his heart on his sleeve has learned to keep that semi-transparent veil of sarcasm over everything he says or does for some protection. some plausible deniability. to be safe. phil doesn't have that at all. when he loves dan out loud he does it LOUD unfiltered and unmoderated. he's so unselfconscious about it and also very evidently PROUD of it like does it ever get you? we know how hard he was raring to get out the gate with the hard launch but even before he never contained it. maybe he couldn't. when he sees dan wearing colour when he sees younger dan in photos it's so crazy. we always say that phil is dan's baby. but THAT'S PHIL'S BABY TOO
