Something different to what I usually did, they’re ink drawings I did like a year ago, it was not long after I watched swing kids and was deeply infatuated with ‘that scene’, well I still am deeply infatuated in it. Tbh that was the holy beginning of my love for rsl.

They’re not perfect but I still love it

Here’s some dipping pen practice.

For a long time, I have wanted dipping pens. I just really like their aesthetics and the fact that it can give line weight variations in the lines. Here I used my favourites of the three nips I have (the fancy black nip in the holder) with the ink you can see in the corner. :D I am far from a professional calligraphy artist and hats off to them because what they do is magical <3 Though what it ended up looking like is a pretty good result in my opinion and you can definitely expect more art done with these dipping pens in the future :D

This is a Sufjan Stevens poster that I completed for my Illustration class. The prompt was to create a gig poster along with a hypothetical pitch. Although I wasn’t required to actually send the image to the musician, I might try to rewrite my pitch, possibly tweak the image in Photoshop, and send it to Sufjan Stevens (it’s worth a shot).
