Perhaps adorning his old gladiator colors before their meeting wasn’t the most diplomatic thing Megatron could do. After all, the little slagpile had decried him as a warlord and claimed he was going to be defenestrated at Megatron’s earliest convenience.

But it was just the perfect thing to catch Livewire off his guard. How could he resist?

The door to his quarters slid open, revealing his fully emblazoned plating to the neutral leader, every angle accented with reds and bright energon blue. A small part of him wished he was still deformed by Unicron, just to see the terror in Livewire’s optics. It was still there, but to his credit the speedster stood his ground anyway. Megatron dismissed the vehicon accompanying his guest and the door closed behind him, sealing them both inside.

“It would seem that I’m not the only one with a flair for the dramatic. Tell me. Do you genuinely believe I wish you harm?”
