I think this is the longest I've ever been in a fandom. 15 years of One direction and my 10th year of being with them.

Since then I've taken various paths but 1D was always a safe haven I could return to and feel like I never left.

So much has changed and I'm not that little girl anymore. But I can't help but go back to my 11 year old self who accidentally discovered this boy band one fine afternoon because youtube autoplay was on; listened and loved every single song, found out that one member left the band and now they're going on a hiatus and decided to wait. Wait for them to come back one day so me and my sister could go see the 5 boys who made our teenage more fun.

That little girl is still waiting.

I miss them but I also miss the 'missing piece of innocence she lost'.
