The hanger inside which Dirge made his home was old, broken, and overgrown... which meant staying under cover as he approached was an easy task for the plant mech.  He crawled his way up to the roof in alt mode, slow and soundlessly, like ivy creeping up the side of a building.  

Once there, he discovered what he was looking for...  a big, glass skylight.  Perfect.  If Dirge happened to be sitting under such a window, he would find himself abruptly assaulted by shards raining down upon him as vines burst through the glass.
