★★ Dakota is good about picking her fights, and she’s pretty much only engaged in combat in the context of fighting pursuers with Aldolpho. (She didn’t have any reason to fight anyone before they got together. Whoops.)

Dirk has made at least four of his coworkers avoid initiating converation with him that isn’t strictly work-related because of how frequently he will launch into long discussions about Digimon or Gundam. Sometimes his team lead asks him about anime so he knows what the hell his daughter is talking about at home.

OC fact: Felix is usually very clean; but he does have a tendency to build up a stink during his depressive periods due to not showering for weeks at a time

Dirk is very good about keeping himself clean and fresh; he showers daily and conditions his hair, washes his face every morning, and since surgery he’s gotten into the habit of periodically using lotion after showers. (It helped with the surgical scars, even if they didn’t quite fade after healing and probably will always be visible.) He’s also good about doing his laundry regularly. It’s about the only chore he’s good about doing on a regular basis, because the rest of his apartment is a disorganized mess, otherwise. Not a biohazard by any means, just... in varying degrees of disaster.

He’s taken to using paper bowls and plastic spoons lately for his cereal.

Some long-overdue sketches of Dirk and Hilde, plus some doodles of Blossom around her IC birthday of 3/21.

I’m honestly still pretty proud of the full-body Dirk sketch and Hilde with the gun, even if the foreshortening is a little amateurish. Sorta adjusting to how to draw her hair properly; I like the idea of it being a little curly and especially thick and fluffy since it’s a wig attached to her chassis, but I’m still working out how to actually draw that.

No good colored mechanical pencil combo yet for Blossom’s hair; orange will just have to do for now.

...not sure I drew her arms folded correctly with that torso wrap, either. Ah well??

I almost forgot how much easier traditional sketching still is for me over digital sketching, haha. I’ll do some more digital art and traditional sketches even while I’m working on cosplay. I’ll try, at least.

Gonna do some more work with Dirk and Hilde. I want to try to develop that story somehow even if I’m probably never gonna make comics or anything hhhahahahaha
