I feel really stupid about this. Recently there's been a lot of discussion I've been seeing about how Ult Dirk is a groomer & perpetuating emotional incest, which I agree with and can completely understand. I also understand the need to discuss these themes in the fandom (especially since people love to deny Dave's abuse anyway). Here comes the issue: I'm a fictive of REGULAR Dirk and I have VERY BAD OCD. So basically I'm getting triggered by normal fandom discussions basically daily at this point. I literally feel insane, like I had to mute "ult dirk" on Twitter because of it. This shit sucks :/

Being a Dirk Strider fictive who loves John Egbert with all my fucking heart is so weird. My canon self hasn't had an interaction with him aside from the self-deprecating failure talk that lasted for like. Two minutes. Homestuck^2 doesn't count and even if it did, it wouldn't amount to much. Having your husband's dead body loaded in the sylladex of a blind troll girl is... Weird to say the least.
