@oncecreep wake up you have no fucking room to tell the trans community what is and what isnt offensive. they had every single right to stand up for themselves and a community that is constantly slandered and downplayed. nothing is “unfortunate” or “asinine”. the only unfortunate thing is that people continue to disregard the trans community and the toxicity of “gender swapping”. by all means they have every right to riot considering how much transphobia is going on in this post right now.
I have every right to point out simple logic of a character being a gender, and an actress being a different gender. This wasn’t a trans issue until someone made it into a trans issue. And no one has the “right” to riot against someone for wanting to change a faceclaim for a fictional character in a fictional writing setting. You want to riot, go for it, but riot in the right place instead of hunting down perceived transgressions on a roleplay corner of a platform.

@oncebully The fact that you didn’t send the ask makes it worse. You involved yourself in a conversation that you had no business being in at the expense of trying to show how much better or more enlightened you are than someone else.
You “would have” contacted them privately but didn’t. Next time try having a conversation like an adult instead of participating in this “callout” trend tumblr seems so fond of. Especially if your intent is to try to teach someone something.
