Outing my look. This photo renders my disabilities visible by virtue of the shaky hand that flicked up and dotted mascara across my eyelid as I tried to apply it. Knowing it would take longer to wipe off and reapply, I pressed the wand into my crease and kept doing that until it built into a shape I liked. The application is something from a Kevyn Aucoin book that stuck due to its accessibility. It appears when my nerves are shot, and I don't want to wear my splints to put on makeup. Actress Grace Mandeville Dons 3D Printed, Fiber Optic, Swarovski Crystal-laden Prosthetic Arm

“I really love fashion, and therefore dress to illustrate my personality, so being able to wear a creative prosthetic that shows who I am seems awesome — it’s like a one off accessory that nobody else can wear, basically like vintage Chanel,” Grace explained. “You should be proud of what makes you different, and I think being able to wear a fun looking prosthetic is something to be proud of! You’re basically saying to the public ‘my arm’s cool and I know’.”
