being disabled is so fun because people will try and tell you it’s wrong to watch things with dubbed audio and then you have to tell them its ableist to say that and then they try to back track and explain how they didn’t mean that and we’re just joking and like… i get why people say it’s weird that people get so upset over having to watch stuff with subtitles because it can be racist but it’s always so frustrating for me to have to explain to people that i need english dubbed audio because while i can watch stuff with subtitles and non english audio it takes a lot more energy and effort for me to do that and it’s A LOT to do that when i want to relax and watch a show.

like my thing is that maybe you should just let people watch things how they want and not police them because i can and will tell you your ableist

Magical girls who canonically use a wheelchair:

Tougou Mimori and Nemu Hiiragi. From what (very little) I know about Tougou she doesn't currently use one at the current point in the story (I don't know why), but Nemu is canonically an amblitory wheelchair user and likley always will be.

happy disabled pride to those for whom cooking/food prep is a nearly insurmountable task btw. whether that be due to pain, fine motor skills, comprehension difficulty, time blindness, or any other kind of physical or mental reason.

it fucking sucks losing hours and hours to a task that is supposed to be fun and good for love and life, all while cookbook "time to prep" numbers jeer and other people seem to be able to handle it a million times easier.

you are seen, you are loved. we all deserve to eat well and eat happily, and im proud of you for anything and everything you were able to eat today, regardless if you made it or not

on that note about Simone, I think her being the most desperate for answers from Blanc in the church at the end makes a lot of sense considering her disability is undiagnosed because medical professionals have been unable to diagnose her. She genuinely does not have answers in regards to her disability, and I think that exacerbates her need for answers in that moment, and her anger and betrayal when Blanc is unable to provide them. Because it's yet another unanswered mystery without closure she'll have to deal with

why do so many non-chronically ill people not comprehend that chronically ill means exactly what it says!! an illness that is constant, continuing for a long time, always present.

so yes that does mean it is always affecting me, yes i am still sick/feel bad, yes i am sick/feel bad all the time
