Disabled Amazon employees have accused the corporation of "systemic discrimination," forcefully quashing their attempts to organize and utilizing generative AI that they claim violate US disability regulations. Disabled employees are reporting about automated/semi-automated denial of requests for disability accommodations, as well as the removal of posts and petitions from the employee Slack channel.
Amazon employees' internal polls revealed that 93% of disabled respondents felt current policies harmed them, 71% said that over half of their accommodations were denied/unmet, and 92% reported a lack of an accessible job accommodation process.

Still thinking about that time my manager discriminated against me and violated the union contract about prioritizing seniority when it comes to promotions and she said that she didn't want to promote me to a coordinator while blaming my autistic traits but then expected me to do every single thing a coordinator would do WITHOUT the pay raise amd WITHOUT the training while also denying me access to breaks and lunch and then the union found out and I got compensated for discrimination AND missed breaks, she got moved to a different department, and then she got fired.
Anyway support unions.
My rubiks cube is one of my weird tricks for trying to stay more alert at work on bad sleepiness days. If I keep my hands busy, I am less likely to go into a sleep attack. Sitting completely motionless is the kiss of death, and why I probably couldn't work a desk job.
I know the sleepiness is extra severe when I struggle to solve the cube. I forget the algorithms that I normally can do on autopilot.
Is anyone willing to discuss possible jobs with me? Like I have a crockpot full of issues that make it really difficult to know what jobs I’m capable of but I want to have a job if possible.
