Stephen Spielberg intended to complete Stanley Kubrick's unfinished series about famous puzzle makers, but gave up when the episode outline about a famous colorful cube was impossible to find in the elder filmmaker's long line of projects. He couldn't continue without including Kubrick's queued Rubik's cube rubric.
