I forgot to share this yesterday. This was me marching with you. For you. Because of you. In spite of you. Marches, protests, and rallies are not disabled-friendly places. There is no parking. Public transit is a nightmare. People run into you. There's no good exit plan in case of emergency. I would need to be in my wheelchair, which would just set me up to be collided with and tripped over. I am agoraphobic, which means my brain would be on complete overdrive (near meltdown status) the entire time. An event like that could potentially take weeks for me to recover from. But I marched into my hallway and took this picture the day prior to the march so I could submit it to #disabilitymarch (disabilitymarch.com). It's not the best website, but I give them serious props for working to include me and people like me. #365dayswithdisability #womensmarch2017 #disabledNOTinvisible #disabilityactivism #disabledactivist
