Most people don’t know that I have OCD and anxiety. When I was invited to meet you in New York I was so excited but also so terrified! Leaving places (my home, hotels, the lover’s lounge) has always been a struggle and I can’t believe I was able to do this. Yes almost giving you my passport was very VERY stressful but it happened for a reason. I wouldn’t have come back and gotten the chance to get to know everyone from the LL and I am so thankful for that. Thank you for your music, your spirit, and for always being yourself. In honor of disabled swifties selfie night, here’s an old picture of my cat and I fangirling over 1989! I have scoliosis and hip dysplasia, which basically means that my hip joint didn’t form properly. I walk with a limp and will need to have a hip replacement soon, but I wouldn’t trade my disability for the world because without it I wouldn’t be me. To everyone who’s dealing with physical or mental disabilities, keep being the strong and amazing people you are.

When truthfully we should be doing this every single day. Guess who was on TV yesterday! 📺🐻 My choreography was chosen as one of the many amazing people on tiktok to be part of @bbcstrictly for @bbccin! 😁 I did find it kinda funny that out of the 3 days it took me to learn the #BBCStrictly choreography, they ended up choosing my freestyle piece 😅 taking it as a compliment to my dance skills💃🏼🐻 I LOVE Children In Need & support it every year! It's a great charity that helps so many disability organisations & disabled people & it does some really great work! Plus they know how to put on one heck of a show! (Even with a shorter one this year sadly due to the pandemic!) I loved seeing @sixthemusical (and hope to see it live one day!) & of course @mcflymusic! A rough week

Literally not gonna lie, it’s been a tough week... on Monday a hard biology exam, Tuesday another horrible math exam, yesterday french vocabulary test and today a 4 hour German exam... and we’re also playing a pretty big gig on Saturday, which I’m super excited for, but is also stressful. Today was the first evening I had this week were I could semi relax. Now I’m lying in bed, with horrible stomach pain and watching edits of the cutest tv show couples mixed with Taylor Interviews. Feeling sappy and over emotional and can’t fall asleep... it’s 11 pm, wish me luck 🙌🏻😳😅

Ok so I totally didn’t realize that it’s disabled selfie night!! So HELLO friends from your local doc in training that has horrible ADHD and anxiety. Despite all the odds I’m about to start my junior year in college. Seriously y’all if I can make it this far please know you can too. Surround yourself with real joy and love. Easier said than done, I know. But, be courageous is small everyday things. Ask for help. Smile when you’re stressed out. Dance it off. Blast some music. WE ARE MORE. you are more than your disability. I am more than my ADHD. I am more than my anxiety.

Wake up every morning and tell yourself “today I will have the audacity to believe that light pours in, even in the valley, even when I feel that I haven’t seen the sun in days. I will believe in the depths of my heavy soul, I will be okay. Hallelujah, I will be okay.

Also shout out to my girl @taylorswift for holding my hand though my darkest days. From dealing with my mental health crisis, my sexual assault (taboo topic that the world need to talk about!), and horrible boyfriend/friend breakups THANK YOU Taylor for never failing to my me smile, dance, or remind me that I’m not alone. YOU HAVE A GREATER IMPACT THAN YOU WILL EVER REALIZE!!!!!
