don't be like me and allow people to step all over you in a professional setting.
be better than that.
Listening to a cover of Empty Chairs at Empty Tables while writing an Enjoltaire fic really hits different.
Especially since the cover is done by none other than our God Fra Fee himself . . . and he's just staring at me while i type the most gayest thing ever.
Jarhead? I thought the sparkling of Lugnut and Strika would be Dumbell. Disappointed.
That’s a clever name! Id wonder what their personality would be
Now everone is gonna hate us and isn't that great?
Some Angry Spoiler Rant
Easy’s bad prophecy being a woman telling him about the “dark soul” of his baby and then Vivien has a bleeding is… just wrong. I mean…. what is that supposed to tell us on a meta level? And for a soap Unter Uns is working with meta meanings a lot (T-Time is the embodiment of that).
Vivien is possibly going through the traumatic experience of a very early miscarriage (after suppressing all her doubts in the first place). Easy who again thinks he will be a father soon will first be told about his baby being “evil” and will then find out that once more he isn’t going to be a father at all… what thoughts following these events might create a haunting cluster in their heads? Maybe, that their plan was wrong/bad/evil all along and therefore had to end like this? Way to go, authors! Even if the characters might overcome that kind of thinking, for some people watching this storyline this will still be the message sent and that’s just disrespectful on so many levels, first of all against the characters created on the show.
There are reasons why Vivien can’t back down from her promise once given… she’s the one who held a family together where all promises kept be broken. Yes, she has sass. Yes, she speaks her mind. But underneath that she’s the one most afraid to lose home, the one who clings to her promises even if it means cutting back on her own well-being (as was seen in her attempts to get justice for her dead brother). If you throw her into a storyline like that, pay attention to that. And Easy? After Leni, first baby plans, Coco, still not counting the egg (sorry, but no)… evil soul and bleeding? Thank you, I’ve had it… I see Ringo and him switching roles with Easy not wanting to try anymore but Ringo still wanting kids and this could be interesting and a chance to grow more as a couple if still tough to watch but I’ve lost my faith here in hoping for anything but a very cheap story move…
What I expected from "Love yourself":
- seven different ways of portraying love
- use different kinds of love (Sibling, Parents, Music, Dreams, Passion, Same gender love/human, Nature etc. - there are too many to list)
- If women are seen, maybe from versatile ethnics or as a symbol
BigHit Trailer:
- all have a white, Asian women on their side.
My hope:
- Jhope's storyline
- Maybe not every women is JUST being a typical Love interest? Like Suga's could be a physical representation of music?
- Staying true to 'Beyond the scene' concept
- JHOPE
My fear:
- Maybe the versatile moments of BTS are over
- Beyond the scene isn't metaphoric.
