Happy THWEE!! I picked a random one again! Davrin x Lucanis Prompt: A fight about boundaries - because one of them *wants* more but is terrified of losing the friendship.
Happy Writing!
Happy THWEE! @thedasweekend Ooooooooo tasty
"Lucanis-"
"No, Davrin. I said... I said no," Lucanis snapped, clenching his hands into fists. Spite clawed at his chest but he shoved the demon down. "This won't work. You know that."
"It could," Davrin pleaded, reaching for Lucanis' hand. "I don't want to lose you but-"
"Then stop," Lucanis begged. "Don't finish that sentence."
Davrin's face fell as Lucanis stared at him. The tension was thick, fraught with unspoken words.
"I can't," Lucanis whispered after a moment. "It's not- it won't work. Please. Don't ask me."
Davrin's hands flexed at his side before he sighed softly.
"Of course. I wouldn't- I didn't mean to upset you. I should take Assan out to Arlathan," he murmured, turning away.
"Do you want company?" Lucanis asked.
"I... I think I should go alone. He needs to focus on his training," Davrin replied, not looking back.
Aiden X Stella doodle sketch that I also made a quick digital version of too. They are disasters but also a power couple.

Two Types of People at Pools
#1- Diving in, having fun, actually swimming, being a normal member of society
e.g.: me diving into the pool. the lighting makes it look green so it reminds me of that quarry swamp we swim in when it’s warm
#2- being an absolute MENACE, attempted MURDER OF YOUR FRIENDS, sheer CHAOS
e.g.: richie and eddie
WIP Wednesday!
Tagged by @mareenavee @dirty-bosmer and @saltymaplesyrup - thank you, my friends!
My attention has been scattered to the four winds this past week, and I've written a lot of random things. But I'll share a snippet from the next bit of the Enthir/Urag piece I've been working on. (First chapter is already posted to my AO3, I just didn't announce it to tumblr for personal reasons).
Anyhoo, this scene comes after Enthir has been fully Out of Commission for an entire day due to drinking himself into Oblivion, and Urag played a reluctant caretaker. I also have @saltymaplesyrup to thank for the topic of their conversation.
--
The Hall of Attainment had a communal bath house. Enthir had grown accustomed to slumming it with students, avoiding them for the most part by choosing to bathe at odd hours of the night. It hadn’t fully prevented him from the occasional run-in with frisky couples whose tongues battled for dominance amidst the haze of humid heat, but it lessened the possibility. Besides, he wouldn’t deny himself the occasional oggle. (Strictly hands-off, of course; he was a man of honor). But any lingering appeal of communal bathing, sexually enticing or otherwise, had long worn off.
Urag, however, had a private bathing chamber.
“Spoiled little prince,” Enthir grumbled as Urag filled the large stone tub from the heated pipes.
“Perks of being a senior member of the College,” Urag said with a smirk, his dark eyes glittering in the torchlight.
“Y’know, I recall you saying that I was older than you,” Enthir began, propping himself up against the nearest wall. “But the more I think about it, I’m not so sure. Come to think of it, I have no idea how old you are.”
Urag swirled his hand through the water and didn’t meet Enthir’s eye. “Orcs live short lives,” he said finally.
“Right, which means you should have shuffled off to Aetherius–” He trilled his lips together, crossing his arms over his chest. “A few centuries ago? Give or take?”
“You’re trying to get into this now, of all times?”
“It was just an odd thing to say, is all.” Enthir glanced down, as if to inspect his own nail beds, then back up, gaze sharp. “Why lie?”
“Why suddenly care?” Urag countered, hackles up. “Get over here and get in this bath.”
“Answer my question and I will.”
Urag sighed, running a hand roughly over his eyes, down his face, finger pads tracing his tusks. He sat in silence for a moment, locked in a staring contest with the wall across from him, then cut off the water. He rose from the edge of the bath and began to unbuckle his waist belt. Enthir watched with narrowed eyes as Urag undressed down to nothing, eyes darting down the mer’s soft cock only briefly before averting his gaze with a huff. The water sloshed loudly, echoing off the low vault of the ceiling. Then came a heavy sigh. Then a moment of silence.
“Enthir.”
Enthir met his eyes with a scowl.
Urag looked tired, head angled backwards against the slope of the stone tub so that the cords of his neck stood in high relief beneath the shadow of his beard. Enthir felt the urge to take a bite out of them.
“Yes?” he goaded, still leaning against the wall, arms tightly crossed.
Urag reached an arm out of the water towards him, almost lazily, steam curling off the surface of his skin as he gestured him over. “C’mere.”
Saw @wanderingaldecaldo use this Incorrect Quotes Generator for Mitch and Valerie and I HAD to do it for River and Vox.
Some of my favorites:
Vox: You love me, right, River?
River: Normally, I’d say yes without hesitation, but I feel like this is going somewhere and I don’t like it.
Vox: Am I in trouble?
River: Take a guess.
Vox: No?
River: Take another guess.
River: Jail is no fun. I’ll tell you that much.
Vox: Oh, you’ve been?
River: Once. In Monopoly.
River: This is such a bad idea.
Vox: Then why are you coming along?
River: One of us need to be able to talk the cops out of arresting us when this inevitably goes wrong.
River: Please, I'm begging you go to a doctor.
Vox: I'm sorry, is this OUR stab wound? Stay out of it.
River: Sorry it took me so long to bail you out of jail.
Vox: No, it's my fault, I shouldn't've used my one phone call to prank call the police.
Vox: I am not out of control! I'm a law-abiding citizen!
River: Really? Name one law.
Vox: Don't kill people?
River: That's on me. I set the bar too low.
