disasterintow replied to your post: "I'm going to preempt you and say whatever you are about to suggest is going to be a horrible idea." Oliver did that endearing yet frustrating blinking thing that he evidently thought she hadn't noticed and catalogued away as his "Felicity is questioning me in a perfectly legitimate manner and I am going to pretend I don't understand what she said" face. "Felicity," he said, and yup, there was the slightly patronising yet fond tone that often came up at times like these. "You don't understand, I *have* to go." "You really don't," she replied. "Barry says he has this under control and besides, Ray can get to Central City much faster than you can." "It's Slade Wilson," Oliver said, and wow she was obviously feeling generous in her mental narration because that really should have been called a whine. "He's my responsibility." "Barry can run faster than the speed of light and Slade doesn't have mirakuru any more," she said, perfectly reasonably. "There are criminals right here in Starling for you to worry about." "But-" "No buts!" Felicity took a calming breath. "Now there's a robbery in progress at 5th and Mason, do you want to go stop that or do you want to stand here whining, *whining* Oliver, about the fact that by the time you even got to Central City Barry would already have Slade in the particle accelerator/prison thing they have there." Oliver pouted. On anyone else it would just have been called a slight tightening of the lips but she could see the pout as clearly as if he had stuck out his jaw and glared at her from under his eyebrows. "She's got a point, man," Diggle said, "and didn't you want to try out those new throwing darts? I say we hit the local bad guys and let the speedster handle Slade." "Fine," Oliver growled, "but if Slade hurts someone-" "Barry will stop him. Now scoot." Oliver withdrew to dress - and how he expected to interrupt a robbery in progress while moving at that speed she didn't know - and Diggle raised an eyebrow at her. "He just needs to realise he's not the only one capable of saving people," she said. "Oh I get that," Diggle said, "I was just wondering where you learned the dealing with bratty siblings thing." "I was his PA," she said, "no one ever remembers where the real power is in those relationships."

The only time it’s acceptable for random extra limbs to appear is in a Smoaking Billionaires Fic.
It’s even MORE important to carefully inventory all limbs during threesomes. When a seventh leg or third dick appears, it’s time to get concerned.

The best moments like that come with horribly planned sex scenes where body parts appear and disappear in all sorts of fun and terribly uncomfortable ways. Like suddenly she has three legs and he is sporting fifteen fingers.
I repeat the mantra of smut writers everywhere: “WHERE ARE THE LIMBS, CLARICE”

XD I JUST FUCKING TRIED TO DO THIS

Yesssss. Do the Daredevil thing. As far as the MCU goes, this now sits #2 for me (under Winter Soldier). The women are strong but flawed, the men cry, and no one is immune to a good beating.
All such excellent things. Just. This show makes me so happy right now.
OK, I love you and the blog, boo, but Clarke Darcy has 10,000 a year at least. Now write it. <3
You got me, nonny! I have no idea how money works in Regency England Whatever!Land. But Clarke Darcy totally makes 10,000 a year at least.
But who/what is Mr. Collins? OOHH OH MY GOD. I’VE GOT IT. I mean, I’m not gonna write it, but here’s some brainstorming. Be warned: expect absolutely zero percent historical accuracy.
THE BLAKE-BENNET FAMILY:
Let’s say that Bellamy Blake-Bennet is unable to inherit the Bennet fortune because he’s only a half-brother. He’s from Aurora’s first marriage, and although Mr. Marcus Bennett adopted Bellamy and raised him like a son, all their family money is tied up with the sisters. Bellamy is an officer in the Royal Army, so he makes a modest living, and he’s technically a gentleman, but he can’t inherit Bennet wealth. So the Bennets are obsessed with finding the right match for Bellamy’s three sisters: Harper Bennet, Octavia Bennet, and Monroe Bennet. Harper is refined and dignified, Octavia is wild, and Monroe is shy. If they don’t get married then theoretically Bellamy could provide for them, but split between three sisters it would be a much impoverished life with no land to speak of.
THE GRIFFIN (DARCY) FAMILY:
Clarke Griffin’s mother and father are a wealthy and established household, but they have no other children and no cousins. They went through legal hell and high water to ensure that Clarke gets sole inheritance when they pass, but there’s one condition: she has to be married. Otherwise, the land reverts back to the state. In the meantime, she gets 10,000 a year that’s hers to keep. Her parents have told her that she can marry if she wants to, but even if she doesn’t she’ll have enough money to live comfortably even if she doesn’t get the land. So she’s basically been like “To hell with getting married, no man can tempt me.”
THE JAHA (BINGLEY) FAMILY & REYES FAMILY
Clarke’s good friend is Wells Jaha. Wells buys the estate at Netherfield, and moves in to enjoy country life. Raven Reyes is Clarke’s best friend from finishing school, the daughter of a super maximum mega rich family from the Americas. Raven and Clarke are petitioning to go to university (math and medicine, respectively) but it’s rare to get in as a woman.
IT BEGINS…
So Wells, Clarke, and Raven walk into a village ball… and the muuuuuuusiiiic… sttoooooooooppppppppsss… because they’re so rich.
Let’s be real, they’re too rich.
In Bellamy’s opinion, at least. Not that anyone asked him, but that’s his opinion. Which he’s repeated to his friend Miller several times after he asked Clarke to dance and she rebuffed him. He’s not HANDSOME ENOUGH to tempt her? Well, she’s a snob!!! AND ONLY MODERATELY PRETTY. (in bellamy’s opinion)
