We have an area of low pressure developing off the South Carolina coast line that will bring strong winds, rain, and snow to the Northeast. Satellite imagery depicts a fairly organized low with features showing lower level convergence and upper-level divergence. If this low occured in June, we would likely be talking about a subtropical system. However, the storm's development is something to note as hurricane season approaches during an El Nino year. #gspwx #scwx
