You know what I want to know - what the hell did Punz say to make everyone follow him to help Tommy and Tubbo?

Actually, first I want to know in-universe why everyone was gathered to see them off in the first place. Did they all know what the boys were heading for? How many people did the two of them tell about Dream’s summons? Did they all know that the two of them were going to their probable deaths, and just let it happen? Or were they all supposed to have been there by coincidence?

But after that, I want to know how Punz convinced them all to join him to take down Dream. Because a lot of the people who were there don’t really care about Tommy and Tubbo, and at least a couple of them - Jack and Niki - actively want him dead. Did he reveal that he’s been working for Dream the whole time? Did he tell them what he knew about Dream’s plans? Did he tell them how Dream has been pulling everyone’s strings? Did he just tell them to come with him if they wanted to see something interesting? What made him finally get over his indecision over whether he should betray Dream?

And when they all did follow, I want to know what it was like for them to walk in on that scene. To come out of the Nether portal and see Tubbo kneeling in front of Dream with a crossbow to his head, Tommy standing by in frozen horror, both of them bleeding and tearstained and missing all the armor and supplies they had worn so proudly a few short hours before. To stand aside as both of them bolted for cover behind their armored bodies, not caring if they’re friends or enemies because in that moment all that mattered was that someone came to help them. And then to see Dream’s trophy hall laid out waiting to hold all the things they care about the most, and start to understand what exactly it is these two kids have been dealing with.

I understand why nobody on that side of things streamed the event, but man, I want to know what happened. I want to know what was said and done where we couldn’t see. Hopefully we’ll get some insight on that from people’s streams in the coming days.

Happy anniversary to wilbur making me sob with just how much he cares about Tommy.  Happy anniversary to wilbur insisting that he didn’t want to come back to life, only to reconsider when Tommy asked him to. Happy anniversary to Wilbur telling Tommy how proud he is of him, for everything he’s been done and gone through, something that Tommy hadn’t heard from pretty much anyone 

Happy anniversary to Wilbur not patronizing or looking down or pitying Tommy, instead choosing to bicker and tease him like nothing had changed, like everything was normal again, because god damn it, thats what Tommy needed. He just needed things to be normal. He just needed the chance to be a kid without the weight of the world on his shoulders. And for a brief moment, wilbur was able to give that to him.

Okay, What?

I know I should be doing homework but I found something crazy. 

I was looking on YT for random DSMP clips because I was bored, and then there was this one clip that came up. It was a clip of how Tommy managed to get Punz on his side. I’ve always wondered how he did that; did he make a deal with the mercenary? Did he threaten something? 

IT had to do something with payment right? Because Punz says that Dream should have payed him more which is why he betrayed Dream.

So basically, what happened in this clip was Tommy left a note in Punz’s house, telling him to go to the 7th floor of his tower. Punz of course, was suspicious because why would Tommy of all people be in his house and his tower? 

Punz goes to the tower and the seventh floor and finds a chest. The chest is on top of six blocks of crying obsidian with another note. 

The second note says: 

Punz, I’ve been suspicious of you since you joined my (our?) side. I hope this payment will be enough to keep you on my side. - TommyInnit

And in the chest, was two Netherite ingots, six TNT, thirty-five gold blocks, and thirty-five diamond blocks. 

Punz is so confused. He thought that Tommy was a poor man, and that he didn’t have anything. Punz has no idea how Tommy managed to get all of this stuff and why Tommy would be sus of him. So he takes the stuff and decides to betray Dream. 

Another thing he says is that Tommy had payed him more than Dream had ever payed him. 

Okay, now that I’ve told you the scene let me explain why I’m freaking out about this- 

First things first, how in the fucking shit did Tommy get all of that stuff in such a short amount of time? The time span between the first day Punz joined the fight against the destruction of L’manburg (as a spy) to the time before Tommy and Tubbo went to go battle with Dream, Tommy managed to get all of that? 

Doesn’t seem possible. The time that Tommy would have free to get all of it would be maybe two or three days? (Real life days I mean, if you just yeet the fact that he does other stuff out the window.) I don’t think that he would have these things already prepared previously because he only became suspicious of Punz when he joined their side. 

Now let’s think, how could have he gotten all of that stuff? By mining normally, by trading, by stealing? (There is also the fact that it could have been spawned in just for the plot but we’re not counting that, let me have fun theorizing lol) 

Well the first one is already off the table, mainly because it would have taken way too long to find all of them and he did it a short amount of time. 

The second one is a little more likely, but Tommy hasn’t shown any indication of having vast sums of Emeralds to trade with villagers. Also, everyone else on the SMP doesn’t trust him enough to strike up a deal so that’s another thing. 

Then there is stealing, but it would have made a huge ruckus when whoever he would steal from is missing literal blocks of ores. So that’s another thing that’s off the table, so how did he get them? 

Maybe Tommy already has a lot of stuff? Like Awesamdude and Technoblade? How they have tons of blocks of ores always stored away and hidden? So maybe Tommy has the same thing except people don’t know about it because he never shows it or tells people about it like the other two? 

There could also be another thing that Tubbo had helped him get those materials, but Tubbo didn’t know about the Punz thing either so that’s also off the table. 

It just doesn’t make sense. How did Tommy get all of that stuff? If he already has a bunch of it left over, why doesn’t he just make the best armor and then be constantly safe? He is just walking around in mainly iron and some diamond, he has the materials (most likely) so why doesn’t he just make better armor and tools? 

Wow my brain hurts
