Almanac’s Disco Daze IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. An interesting hop profile on this from the Nelson with some berry-like notes behind the citrus and tropical fruit you’d expect. Nice medium body with some nice fruity sweetness and a pretty firm bitterness into the finish. Solid.
So... last night I discovered “The Get Down” on Netflix & got woke. I somehow didn’t know but 15 minutes into it realized/recognized Baz Luhrmann’s style. So operatic, the swirl of colors & drama w/ comedic relief, the continuous use of music. What a fucking GREAT SHOW! Can’t wait to binge on the rest of it...
