saw it this morning at 10am with a packed theatre and maybe cried a little bit. thought of u bc there's such a good amt of dennylindapaul dynamics showing!!! entire section dedicated to them just singing and goofing together. and a nice bit of gotta sing gotta dance on the big screen. the collage-y editing style was so fun, really reinvented a couple of well known photoshoots. but what can i really say of substance lol. being objective abt paul is so hardddd my silly rabbit

not at all sure if its doable but arctic eggs was such a bizarre physics experience that it must be worth trying in VR. gameplay is, you fry eggs in a weird little world for the hungry. do tell if it works 👀👀

this doesn't appear to be a vr game, sorry! games have to be specifically developed/compatible with vr, you can't just load into any in a vr headset. that said, this DOES look interesting and i'll put a pin in it.

*the books, are in chronological order, beebo brinker, odd girl out, i am a woman, women in the shadows, journey to a woman. HOWEVER. beebo brinker is a prequel and it works better if you read it last. so start with odd girl out. it's the weakest of the series bc it's based more on publishing expectations but it does set up the protagonist so it's kinda necessary. i am a woman is a fucking RIOT. insanely hard opening line. dyke drama out the wazoo. i love mess. women in the shadows is...hm. a bit upsetting honestly but i do think it's important as a way of taking off the blinders for impressionable young gays in the 60s. some weird race stuff but in a way that is more exoticized than malicious. i give you permission to skip this one. journey to a woman is also a stone cold banger. imagine moonstruck (1987) with cher and nic cage but they're lesbians. i cannot talk about either beebo brinker the book or the character without dissolving into wails. you just have to accept that you are emotionally attached to a character named BEEBO BRINKER and roll with it. the past is a foreign country etc

47. What quirk does your favorite character have that you find most endearing? Answered for my boy Hawkeye, so I'll pick a random quirk from another character I like. I love that Trapper plays the ukulele!

49. Is there a duo that you wish the show had done a bit more with? I always liked the interactions between Trapper and Klinger, so I would have loved some more of that! I'm not sure they even had any one-on-one scenes, I feel like Hawkeye was always there too (which I'm never gonna complain about lmao) but I feel like just the two of them would have made for a fun team-up.

19. Describe how they communicate  Okay so the two of them love talking and hearing themselves speak however at the start of their tentative partnership/not even really friendship yet, they refuse to listen to one another so they mostly communicate through arguing <3

The better they get to know each other though and the more they actually give a shit about each other, I think the more they start to communicate with gestures and touch!! Like Salita will offer Caedis the symbolism umbrella as a sorry instead of actually saying it out loud but Caedis will almost always get what he means
