I really don't get how some of you can be so Online that you think the reason for why a lot of straight men are so insecure about their male friendships and think caring is "gay" is like, girls and gays on the Internet writing fanfiction or headcanons. All you have to do is interact with one of those guys for more than five minutes to know that the call is coming from inside the house. As in, it comes from other straight men telling them to feel that way. Most of those guys have no idea that AO3 even exists!
