A Sentimental Confession
Dear lovely followers of DI, To be honest with you, maintaining the blog hasn't been easy for me. I really have to apologize for not posting a song in a while, but I just ran out of steam. Finals started a week ago and I'm 8500 miles away from home during the holidays, so I kind of ended up in a funk. Today I spent the majority of the day listening to the Discover Indie Spotify playlist to find out how much it made me happy to find new music for myself and to share it with those that cared to listen. I don't know how many of you are going to read this/how many of you are going to care, but I guess I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate all the support I get. Really, thank you. Boston Calling Music Festival
Anybody going to Boston Calling Music Festival tomorrow and Sunday? I'll be there! The bands I'm most excited for are Marina and the Diamonds, Of Monsters and Men, and of course, The National. This is my first festival and we're already expecting shitty weather. Here's hoping it won't be as bad as I expect it to be!
