Not my favorite part of the box - because sometimes lilies cause a minor allergic reaction. However, it worked out okay. No lingering scent & clean clothes - with no chemicals. I received this free in exchange for an honest review.

Influenster Sprout VoxBox Blog Review!
The recent Sprout VoxBox from Influenster was full of healthy and eco-friendly products, which was right up my alley! I enjoyed everything in the box and had a great time testing and photographing each product. This is my third VoxBox from Influenster and I have really come to like leaving reviews and making product lists more and more on the website. For anyone who is not familiar with Influenster, it is a website dedicated to compiling consumer reviews on all kinds of popular products. You simply link your social media accounts, leave your own reviews, and wait to be selected to test some new and exciting products!! The Sprout VoxBox is just proof that you do not have to strictly be a beauty guru to enjoy Influenster. The website caters to all kinds of people and offers all kinds of products for testing. I will provide my reviews and the prices of each product below. I received the following products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.
Orgain Organic Protein Powder in Vanilla Bean-I used the Orgain protein powder to make a fruit smoothie for breakfast from a recipe included on the packet. You simply mix the powder with a frozen banana or other fruits and milk/non-dairy milk. I found the smoothie to be delicious and did not detect much of a chalky or vitamin taste. I was very pleased to learn that the powder was soy and GMO-free, and made with a plant-based mixture of pea, brown rice, chia, and hemp protein. The powder contained 5g fiber and substantial protein, which is perfect for staying regular and fit. The only thing I slightly objected to was the use of sucralose in the powder. I did not taste the alternative sweetener and I understand that a low carb diet is important to building muscle, but I prefer to consume real sugar or honey when possible. A 1 lb. bottle of the Orgain protein powder costs $23.99 and is available at Target stores. I think this price is decent for an organic protein if you use the powder in the occasional drink or smoothie, but the price is a bit high if you use the powder everyday. I would likely use the protein powder sometimes in a breakfast or snack smoothie for general health and some weight/muscle gain. 4/5
Eatsmart Garlic Hummus Tortilla Chips-I pulled out my tub of hummus and immediately used the Eatsmart chips for dipping! They were just delicious with hummus and probably with salsa and guacamole too. The chips are light and crunchy, with a yummy slightly garlicy seasoning. The chips contain simple, nutritious ingredients like corn, beans, and plant oils, and are non-GMO and gluten free. They do offer some protein and fiber and I would consider them to be healthier corn chip. These chips sell for $3.99 a bag, which I feel like is comparable to most snack foods. I would definitely buy these again and stock up during a sale. My whole family loved munching on the chips and commented on the tasty flavor. 5/5
Ecos Laundry Detergent-I haven’t actually used this sample, but I feel like I will like it well enough because the Magnolia and Lily scent sounds lovely and the safer cleaning formula is hypoallergenic and made with gentler, natural ingredients. The description promises an ultra concentrated detergent with plant-based ingredients and a fabric softener included. The packaging displays third party certifications from Earth Friendly and Safer Choice Product organizations. At $7.25 for a 50 oz. container, I think this laundry detergent is a bit expensive for my household to use often, but I would consider purchasing to use sometimes for our more sensitive family members. Funnily enough, our black lab mix has the most problems with scented laundry detergent and requires a scent free/gentle detergent for her bedding and blankets to avoid extreme itching, hair loss, and possible skin infections. I think this detergent would be great for her, especially in a scent free variety. 3.5/5
Curate Bar in Dark and Tempting Flavor-What struck me most about the Curate bar was the beautiful packaging, imaginative name, and bold ingredient list on the front of the wrapper. The description alone was enough to convince me that this snack bar was going to be great! Upon further inspection, I see that the bar offers significant protein and fiber, which is just great for on-the-go snacking or to eat as part of a quick breakfast or midnight snack. The ingredients are all recognizable, simple, plant-based, non-GMO, and soy and gluten free. This is all great!! Now for the taste. I immediately tasted the mission figs in the bar and was reminded of the chewy middle in a fig newton. I then got hints of orange and the crunch of hazelnuts and sunflower seeds as I kept chewing. The texture sort of reminded me of a Clif bar, but just thinner, flatter, and more fruit and nut based. The Curate bar was very delicious overall, easy to carry with you, and chock full of nutritious ingredients. The bars cost $1.89 each or $6.49 for a 4-count carton, which is again a little expensive for my frugal and bargain self. I would totally buy any flavor of Curare bar if I could get them at a discount or maybe occasionally as a treat! I love snacks that you can feel good about eating and sometimes that is worth a higher price! 4.5/5
Hair Food Moisture Collection Shampoo and Conditioner-I first noticed that the Hair Food products had a very warm, sweet scent in the shower. My hair felt soft and silky right after using and my air dried hair was softer, sleeker, and more manageable than normal. I do sample a lot of shampoo and conditioners and the Hair Food products were legitimately some of the best hair products that I have used in months. The difference in my hair was noticeable and immediate. I appreciated that the formula contains plant-based ingredients like honey and apricot and that the products were free of parabens and mineral oil. The bottle design on the packaging was also very sleek and spa-like. For $9.99, I would pick up the Hair Food collection at my local drug store. I would pay full price to have my hair less unruly and much silkier! 4.8/5
