i feel as my art style has evolved, it actually has moved to like, embracing the cutesyness, like, I grew up with my relatives on my mom’s side sending stuff all the time, and Japanese kids products (like rice seasoning, bath hats, etc.) have like a lot of mascot characters that are very round like that’s like the best way I can describe is like, very round and like, that’s stuck with me as like, fun to draw(?), like it’s always been there but it hasn’t been until recently I’ve been conscious about it.

Apparently it’s ‘Iris day’ today and guess who’s name is Iris 😆 My aunt congratulated me this morning so I was like ‘What, it isn’t even my birthday’. Pretty cool though. I never really liked my name, but it has some nice meanings:

- It’s a flower ofcourse. - The part around the pupil in the eye - The messenger of gods - It’s the greek god of the rainbow - The name of a song by the goo goo dolls, the song is awesome btw.
