So what if the identity of the killer was obvious? It's nice to see them use a setting that doesn't involve annoying teens.; Not sure if the plot is actually mathematically possible but a cool movie nonetheless. Mean while a masked man wearing a mine worker's uniform with Pickaxe prepares to kill the group throwing the party. 29-12-2015 Maniac Cop is a great exploitation film. It has some truly inspired moments. Bruce Campbell is great and the Maniac Cop himself is a worthy creation in the horror genre. Most people will avoid this and they shouldn't, because for the budget and limitations it's a great flick. 28-12-2015 What do you get when you combine young people partying, 80s metal non stop, wet t-shirt contests, pretty girls making a buck or two on the side with older gents, sharply dressed biker gang, shady local government figures, and a leather-clad masked killer who offs everybody in high voltage fashion. You get one of the most watchable slashers out there. It's so well made, well paced and well acted (well, it's campy but not horrible) that it almost qualifies for a "feel-good slasher". The story isn't too complex, a beach town biker gang leader gets fried on electric chair, his last words consist of a vow to avenge his own death. 27-12-2015 This film throws back to Hooper's roots, trading in the gore for playing with your nerves like Jimmy Page playing guitar. Traveling carnivals have always had a sinister, menacing undertone to them - that's part of what makes them so attractive - and Hooper takes that queasy unease and turns it up to '11', so that when the true horror is revealed, it's intensified that much more. Four friends on a double date decide to hole up in the Funhouse of a traveling carnival just outside of town way past closing time, just for kicks. 26-12-2015 This is an underrated little gem. The plot centers around an dead horror star who is bent on revenge, when a group of college kids steal his corpse. This movie has it all, scares, laughs, and saint, yes saint, the ring leader of the college kids. He's got the looks, he's got the style, he's got the girl. 25-12-2015 That guy off tellies Grizzly Adams is department store Santa trying to stop a Nazi created elf from doing something. The elf is laughable. Characters come and go without explanation. The elf kills without explanation. Grizzly Adams acting defies explanation. The dialogue is priceless. This movie was delightfully bad. 24-12-2015 This film focuses on 3 college girls, Jennifer, Phoebe and Vivia who pledge a sorority and get in enduring pranks and humility. Soon, a mysterious killer starts wiping out some of the campus residents and when the girls attend a costume party, the killer decides to make their presence known. This is a strange film that pays homage to horror films, "The House on Sorority Row," "The Evil Dead" and "The Exorcist."
