Rewatching Turning Red with my little sister and I loved the movie, but it's interesting how Ming's antisemitism is never addressed. She hates Miriam, a literal child, and calls her weird and says she doesn't trust her and that she teaches Mei to lie and corrupts her (y'know, classic antisemitic tropes).....now you might say "oh it's because Miriam is more 'alternative'" but like....so is Priya. Ming doesn't have the same animosity towards her. Anyway it's interesting and yet another reason why you can't trust Disney with Jewish characters, even if they're side characters.
