Franz / Fliegenhosen is probably the closest we’ll ever get to an in-house genderfluid Disney character, but instead of getting a film where we can explore the struggles of a vehicle who freely and comfortably switches between plane and car, get to see how vehicular society at large reacts to him, and how he travels worldwide and finds other vehicles who also wish to be more than what they were manufactured for, we got Disney’s Planes (2013)

This amazing little aerocar, and all the possible story implications he carries with him of exploring your identity, sitting on the edge between societal boundaries, body modification as a form of self-expression, and gender mechanical presentation only gets about 4 minutes of runtime in a really terrible movie (and that’s only if you include the deleted song that you can only find on the DVD special features).

Skipper is always so sad...

He is, but understandably so I think. He didn't just go to war; he lost the entire team that he trained himself, an entire fleet of his own folks. To lose one person you cared about is a hard blow. To lose a whole class's worth, and for that to be your own doing? Theres probably a few good reasons he ended up living alone with Sparky and in a hangar in the middle of nowhere.

I think even after Dusty showed up, Skip was...well, he was definitely a whole lot better. But you could still see it in his eyes. He would never truly be the same old bird.

Please don't ask me how many times I've watched the Planes movies today...cuz...it's been a lot. Like, I mean, a lot. I needed more Dusty Crophopper in my life today.

Nick translates to mermaid scarily well. Fun fact, this was actually one of my very first FireAlpaca fullscale drawings! Which...explains why it has so many mistakes! To be fair though I am really satisfied with this, from the pose to the colors and shading, to the plants I found an actual brush for in the program. And this my people is how I am starting off my month of mermaid content!! Notes: -I don't think I knew that 'protecc alpha' existed when I made this. -the lines are inconsistent. :3 -at least he still conveys to you that he's sexy?? -Oh, Nick's mermaid tail is based off of some cross between a koi and a goldfish. I will have other tail types later which is why I bring that up. For instance, Dusty will be a seahorse tail. And he's fucking ADORABLE. -Pen
