Hey friends!! I’m so excited to say that I’m actually in the process of becoming a certified Disney vacation planner as an independent contractor with Magical Vacation Planner, one of the top Disney vacation planning agencies. What are they biggest challenges or questions you have about planning a Disney vacation?? If you ain’t first, you’re last 😎 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So we had a pretty cool first time experience last week at Hollywood Studios. Just by chance, we were one of the first cars at the parking booths last Thursday! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now we weren’t one of the first guests in the park, so you may be wondering why this even matters, but it’s always just exciting to experience something for the first time. PLUS, it also gives us the opportunity to share with you how it all worked out! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We arrived at Hollywood Studios around 7:55am and they were just starting to let cars up to the parking booth. There happened to be one empty lane, so we pulled in straight to the front of the line. We didn’t even time it this way, we were just in the right place at the right time. (If you arrive before they let you up to the parking gate, they actually have security there making everyone U-turn.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They let us through the booth to park at 8:10am. It was great being there super early, but before we were even parked, guests from resort buses and the Skyliner were already entering the park. Now we did get a great parking spot and we did only wait about 15 minutes (basically walking through the queue) for Smugglers Run. Moral of the story, if you are staying on property, you are probably better off using resort transportation rather than driving yourself. Happy Magic Kingdom Monday!✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We are now heading into the summer months which means it’s going to be extra hot here in Florida. This is why we always take advantage of the free cups of ice water you can get in the parks! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you didn’t know, at any snack kiosk or quick service restaurant, if they serve fountain soda you can get cups of ice water for FREE! Family time at the most magical place on earth!✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This past week Taylor’s family was in town for their annual Disney vacation! This was their first time back since fall 2019 and we all couldn’t have been more excited! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We spent a day at Animal Kingdom together where we rope dropped Flight of Passage and then conquered the rest of the park! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Taylor’s youngest sister Jossy was finally tall enough to ride FoP & Everest and now Expedition Everest is her favorite ride! She even got a shirt from the attraction because she was so excited about it. Monorail Bar Crawl Crew!🍹 It’s been a little while since our last bar crawl so we figured it was time for another one! Our friends @the_magic_dads were in town and hadn’t done an “official” bar crawl yet, so it was time to show them the ropes! We did the monorail bar crawl around the Magic Kingdom monorail resorts. We started at the Contemporary, then made our way to the Polynesian, and finished off at the Grand Floridian! The bars we stopped at included: California Grill bar The Wave lounge Outer Rim Tambu lounge Enchanted Rose When doing a bar crawl, there really are no rules, so you can visit as many or as little stops as you prefer! We chose to make these 5 stops for our bar crawl, but we could’ve added the resort pool bars and Narcoossee’s bar as well. Trader Sam’s and the Tiki Terrace are two other great options once they reopen, so we will be doing another crawl to add those in later! Just a casual Foodie Friday🍴 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last weekend we ate at Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs for the first time, and let me tell you, it definitely won’t be the last! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We have been dying to try this place since it opened a few years back, and we finally made it happen! If you didn’t know this is a Spanish-American inspired restaurant and menu with beautiful views of the surrounding resort. We dined with our friends Donald & Eliut which is always wonderful for company and the food variety! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you decide to try out Three Bridges, we highly recommend starting with some appetizers and the Sangria Flight.
