Disqualifications!

So obviously with my limited list, there's lots of Sanses I missed or skipped over and I have about 7 reasons why individuals might not of made it to the final cut. It should be mentioned up front that I have a secondary list with all the aus who just didn't make the final cut and certain aus used as examples here may eventually be included but that will be after the completion of this project and thus a LONG ways off.

1. They are kids themselves canonically and they not aged up in their common au appearance. Some examples of these usually-a-kid aus are Sanses like time kid (and his variants) as well as asylum. They are children therefore can not have children. (I'm aware there is a canonical adult form of time kid but he's not how time kid is usually presented. I'm also aware of other people's personal takes on asylumtale that ages Sans up but id rather go abit closer to the base material and since there is no canoncial adult asylumtale sans and his og creator never aged him up, he will remain here)

2. They are from a bigoted or deeply problematic au. This surprisingly doesn't take too many aus off the counter but aus like "tribaltale" or "freedomtale" are racist and problematic. I've also taken off any aus steeped in incest and ones where sans and papyrus are the same being (Specifically six bones) because I just do not want to deal with all'at.

3. I didn't know them personally enough. This is technically my fault but there's some popular aus I just... Don't really know the story enough to make ship kids from them. This includes some aus like paper crane and epictale but if I become more acquainted with the story at a later date, I will absolutely consider adding them later.

4. They didn't have enough of a hook to make characters off of. This is also technically subjective but some aus(especially the newer ones who are still considered in some form of development like mint, anxiety and echo flower) just aren't different enough from the ones already included for me to really make a unique ship kid. Like a classic x anxiety kiddo would just be all of classic's kids with built in anxiety, there wouldn't be much of a difference. This rule could be backed down off of but yeah.

5. They are a ship kid themselves. Obviously I don't wanna mix generation 0 Sanses with generation 1 or 2 ship kids. No goth x fresh or something gross and age gappy pedo shit like that. Not to mention I'm basically just making a three way ship with extra steps and the idea of that (without the shipkid) is a whole different project all on its own.

6. They were too deep in sub aus or were just too basically of a mix between two aus the sanes is more of a fusion instead of an actual stand alone au. This rule is also subjective. Obviously you could point to my multiple swapfells but here I'm more so talking about the more difficult contenders and straight up fusions like freshink, flowerfell and other things that would not only hit this disqualification but also hit number 4.

7. Too new. I'm going for a more retro feeling to this project and I don't want to include a sans who isn't really a staple of the community people will recognize.

And that's about it. Obviously I have no Ill will towards the creators of the Sanses I didn't include (except for the makers of those racist aus, fuck you.) but, it should be mentioned, just because an au is present doesn't mean I endorse the creator or they endorse me. I'm only making ship kids because the creator showed allowance/impartialty towards people making ship kids with their Sanses.

All in all I have that secondary list and if I still have the ship kid itch after this project, maybe I'll add them maybe I won't. We'll just have to see! :)
