I don't know if it's because I decided to stay home today, if it's the extra vitamin D supplements I took to make up for my deficit, if it's the impending spring, or a combination of all three, but I had a great morning. After waking, I did a yoga practice, taking some some extra time on the mat to stretch out muscles and areas that needed a little extra love. I then had a glass of kefir with honey, made coffee, and put on a few MuchelleB videos while I sat with my planner. When I was ready, I showered and got ready for the day, and now I'm sitting down for a more proper breakfast.
Next, I'll launch into the fellowship application I was working on last night, and that's due Sunday. I really need this kind of funding -- and then outside funding after that, just to keep myself paying bills while I finish.
I had a phone meeting with my advisor yesterday, and I think it was the best meeting we've ever had. That, coupled with that fresh-from-a-conference feeling, is making me so excited to continue working.
