This might be an act of forgetfulness on my part, but was the Class E supposed to be intentional, and Perkons' early hatching was just a general 'oopsie'? Bc if so holy hell no wonder Canary spawned with 10 seeds, she's the offspring of EM and a king who looked at his living bomb army and said 'wait. We also need an immortal one.'
E-Types were entirely accidental. That is partly why Knife was difficult to control, as Created species often feel strongly compelled to follow commands/orders given to them by their worm kings. Knife’s regenerative skills might have developed from his leeching/parasiting off of his four siblings when he was still just an egg. It was just a strong drive to survive and grow that kind of intensified to his incredible ability he now has (and passes on to his children.) Knife also drained the most from Dievas, and it is vaguely suspected that A-types were originally meant to have many of the qualities that E-types now have and were originally going to be the ‘Medic’ Class. In an odd way, you could see e-types as a mutant a-type..? (E types also have a vaguely similar timer shape to A-types timers.) Originally knife’s egg was going to be destroyed when it first was discovered/showed up, but Evil Mother persuaded to keep it around. She generally is an advocate for all living things and admires strange creatures that are desperate to survive. I think that like good leadman, EM had a sort of weird attachment to perkons to fill the void of her child that was taken from her. (although obviously, she did not feel this as strongly as leadman did lol.)but yeah generally EM and the king worm that made the hekatons were not the best combo as the king worm was absolutely obsessed with ‘godlike power’ and EM was like ‘lol ok. here’s how you do that.’
