like, i seem more uptight here but i don’t actually take dc comics too seriously if you talk to me on discord fnkf
#me the other day: i only accept ntt dick#me today: you know what. i think dick should have his flop era. maybe even bad characterization can salvageable if i explain it away#*can be salvageable#if i can explain it away in a way that makes sense to me#maybe i can create a character progression from this#bc like you know what if characters just stay as they are in select comic runs#it sort of becomes boring sometimes#we can't complain about comics being static but only sticking to like one characterization and without letting it progress#if that makes sense?#like ntt dick is very much a square for example#if he does have his cop era i think he should be clowned for it and that he did it after he had like one mental breakdown after the titans#dissolved.#also like he was very much against killing in ntt and had much stricter morals#but i think over time he just grew up more later#and faced things that challenged his morals and his own stance on things#that i think he's more flexible by the tomasi run#also ok tbh i don't rly like read a lot of the n52 and rebirth stuff for dick#so assume that this whole thing is just pre-flashpoint timeline#me.txt
