short opinion on media i've consumed lately

television

spy x family: i'm at the beginning of the 2nd half of season one and i adore this so far. also both yor and loid are just so attractive.

trigun stampede: loving this so far. the original trigun is my 2nd favorite anime and this is, storywise, a little better. i still love the old one.

bleach: bleach is my all-time favorite anime. i'm obsessed. we just caught up with thousand year blood war. fantastic! can't wait for the rest of it.

hannibal: literally as i'm typing this, i'm watching season 2 for the first time. well, technically i have given this a shot and didn't like it but my friend convinced me to give it a second chance.

movies

renfield: nic cage made a great dracula, nicholas hoult was amazing as usual. i loved brandon scott jones and ben schwartz. the rest of the movie was lackluster and i kind of blame awkwafina. i just don't like her.

sinners: movie of the year! fantastic! kill more racists!!! jordan was great!!! god, i loved this fucking movie!!!

king kong: i am so pissed at this movie for fucking with the large loving gorilla. leave him the fuck alone. as a matter of fact, leave him and naomi watts alone to be friends forever.

superman: pretty cute, 10/10. once again hoult is fantastic. this superman is the best. just all around yes.

minecraft: not a fan. actors good. movie forgetable.

k-pop demon hunters: 10/10. everything about this is damn near perfect. i love the music.

nightmare on elm street 2: probably the worst noem i've personally seen.

it's what's inside: i thought this movie was going to suck because the acting was weird. but this movie was fantastic! david thompson and devon terrell were standouts.

games

spirt city: use this everyday. great for neurodivergents like me.

cassette beasts: highly recommend this. haven't played the dlc yet.

the world next door: quick little playthrough, i don't recommend playing it a second time. was cheap in the steam sale.

hades: so far, i love it. still playing it.

books

soul eater: i like the anime better so far. the eyes are drawn far apart. i just read volume one.

frankenstein//junji ito: still reading the beginning so don't really have an opinion yet.

the spirit of shinto: so far it's informative. i've not read a ton of it yet.

the marvelous land of oz: i'm still at the beginning of this but it is my billionth readthrough. i love the oz books.

chainsaw man: just volume one so far, i'm testing manga. so far i think i'll keep reading it.

my hero academia: volume one... this one is okay, just like the anime.

jujutsu kaisen: another volume one, i will definitely be finishing this as i love the anime.

sailor moon: i'm currently reading the eternal edition of this manga. i've read the regular edition plenty as this was my original anime i obsessed with.

junji ito's cat diary: this was a pretty cute read.

burn the witch: tite kubo knows how to draw my type. the beginning was slow but i liked it.

dissolving classroom: more off-putting than i usually like because damn do i hate the reoccurring sister character but, still liked it. this was the collected edition.

spy x family: basically an exact replica of the anime thus far. i've only read volume one.

alley//junji ito: not a bad story in this collection. highly recommend!!
