hello! im asking around the community for some spell construction tips, especially spells that can be cast over long distances to affect large areas/many people? im trying to create a spell (or sigil or charm or anything that could help really) that could aid the escape/protection of people from terrorism but am currently at a loss for what to do. its alright if you dont want to answer this, but any help is appreciated!
Before you start, do a ton of research and find out exactly what’s happening and who you want to help. There are a lot of inaccurate sources regarding terrorism and such things. This will help focus your intent.
A sigil would be easiest i think, though i find a ritual or spell usually generates more energy. You could create a sigil out of a simple phrase such as ‘the civilians in areas effected by terrorism are safe’ or escape easily if that’s what you’d like.
If you would like to perform a spell, gather:
- a photo or something of the place you’d like to protect,
- herbs you associate with protection like nettles, walnut (or other nut) shells, aloe (can be used to add a healing element,) amaranth (I’ve seen this written to be protection from bullets specifically,) angelica, birch, black pepper and maybe cayenne to give it some kick.
- if you make a sigil you can carve it into a white or maybe blue candle (calm, luck, will power/focus) For protection spells i like to have 3 candles, so that i can visualize myself + the candles forming a protective circle around my subject.
You can ground/cleans however you like beforehand, place your subject (photo) and then light your centre candle, and then light the others from that candle, visualizing the light making it’s circle and protecting those within it. Then, if you have a walnut shell, or similar small, hard container (even a small metal container like an Altoids tin works, i wouldn’t use glass bc i associate it with fragility) put your photo in there, along with the other herbs, one by one, visualizing what you’d like each one to do in this spell.
Once you’ve added everything you like, close your container, and seal with wax from your sigil-carved candle. (if it’s half a walnut shell, just pour the wax over the open side) And then you can blow out your candles and put the container in a few different places. My favourite would be in a fire, preferably if the wind is blowing in the direction your want your spell to be carried. Or if it’s completely biodegradable (bees wax used, not paraffin, and container being wooden or a nut shell) you can bury it on the furthest bit of your property that points to where you want the spell directed. If it’s not biodegradable, I’d put it in my house, in the furthest spot possible in the direction of the place you’re targeting. So If you’re in New York, and want to help people in Mexico (just an example,) you’d put your container in the most south/south west part of your house or property.
This is just a general protection/luck spell with the final placement added for direction, so you can of course tweak it to suit your needs.
