Hi, sry, pardon me, but im on mobile rn and i cant see ur faq if ever- but would u mind talking abt how u went abt the design and conceptualisation of ur trollsona's diff forms, especially in regards to how the diff signs (rising ascendant sun moon etc) and planets came into play? The designs u made were just so cool and interesting!!

hhh my god you cant see it but i am So glad you asked im literally vibrating in my seat this is truly the best timeline,, never could i have dreamed someone would ask.,,,

now that you DID ask though uhh,, i didnt put a lot of thought in regards to how the actual sign and placement could have affected the design and actually that would have been super cool ghk,, i can make some correlations that may or may not have been subconscious but are more likely than not to be coincidental

so uhh in typical heart fashion... heres me oversharing

the withdrawn (taurus sun, venus)

the horns.. are pretty much just modelled after the actual symbol

the actual symbol... is part of the dress!

in general i try to integrate the symbol into the design rather than have it like emblazoned onto the front of a shirt

im not gonna lie i pretty much went with the first draft for everything except the redemptive..

looking at the design it doesnt really fit when you hear the title ‘the withdrawn’, i was thinking more of how /I/ relate to my sun and aspect? definitely i had the thought when drawing the dress that it reminded me of aphrodite, so i guess thats venusian influence

its a relatively revealing dress, thats probably bc when you say heart i think 'showy' LOL

uhh part of that is like. i know typically troll color schemes dont venture into white like.. ever.. but making it black gave off the wrong vibe?? actually i didnt even try making it black lmao. sun is bright and warm!! also aforementioned aphrodite likeness

thats about the extent of any sort of thought process for this one lmao...

sure wish i had shoes like that tho....

the translucent (cancer moon)

honestly this is probably the sign i identify with the least in terms of actual natal chart but i liked the sign title and found it p fitting tbh

i try to be as transparent as possible but feel like theres always some part of me that isnt coming through when im interacting with others and not for lack of trying so theres that. frequently im told im a complicated person irl though i dont get it lmao

uhh moon is how u feel and your emotions and stuff right. i think for this one i pretty much just went with an outfit that im most comfortable in.. the other ones sort of project outward if that makes sense?? putting on a show, this ones just more inward nd about whats comfortable and easy to wear

that probably also ties in with the heart aspect

ngl its also because i couldnt think of a clever way to integrate the symbol lmao, i didnt want to pull the same gimmick as the withdrawn

i was thinking a lot about the ancestor designs?? it gave that kind of vibe so uhh. if u get reminded of the dolorosa thats why LOL

i had several ideas for the symbol like.. one of them was having the hemline of the dress look like it, another was more like a hooded capelet with the hem like the symbol

the cape thingy right now... is draped... like the viro symbol...

i actually DO own those shoes!!! theyre also on the lost design

this is probably also the design that i thought more about the actual character for lmao.. i had a weapon design for like a cane?? i had a walking stick a bit back when i fucked up my foot, but also like the hook bit seems pretty multifunctional?? use it to swing and grapple and stuff asdfs,, its also not Too close range, because the moment anyone is close range to me i die immediately

jobs..... i was thinking teacher? so the design feels a bit more subdued tbh. i think thats also why i went with the cane

the lost (aries dominant, mercury and saturn)

aries is one of the signs i identify with most but i cant relate to the sign class description LMAO..

theres a bit of virgo influence here tbh like designwise?? the rulers are inverted LMAO like mars, ruler of aries, is in virgo, and mercury.. ruler of virgo..... is in aries..

it doesnt help that mercury is about communication so i feel like the way ill try to communicate might be in line with aries, but communication also has a lot to do with how you come off to people (rising). basically if i could mash my dominant and rising signs together there wouldnt even be a contest here

the symbol is actually the choker but i was concerned that it wasnt obvious enough so i slapped it on the shirt lmao

i ALSO own that skirt!! cant find anything to pair it with though

the design is a bit more grim and restricted than the other three, maybe thats the saturnine influence

when you say ‘lost’ i think existentially? so on one hand im wearing mala beads (that i also own and made myself) bc a lot of my life was my depressed ass trying not to be and buddhism has been a huge impact on my framing of the world

on the other hand i got crystal bracelets and a ring (which... i also own... the bracelet is tiger eye and the ring is hematite), theyre grounding but also i gues i try to use them for guidance.. bc im... Lost ...

what would zenyatta do if faced with one of those captcha 'prove youre not a robot' codes

Close the computer and then proceed to start a campaign to have the language of captcha altered so it wasn’t phrased in a way that seemed prejudiced towards omnics--maybe have it changed to “prove you’re a person” instead? Ie, make whoever owns captcha’s life really difficult for a bit haha. 

It probably doesn’t do more than passingly irritate him, but he’s all about drumming up good pr, you know.

hello! im asking around the community for some spell construction tips, especially spells that can be cast over long distances to affect large areas/many people? im trying to create a spell (or sigil or charm or anything that could help really) that could aid the escape/protection of people from terrorism but am currently at a loss for what to do. its alright if you dont want to answer this, but any help is appreciated!

That’s a lovely thought! 

Before you start, do a ton of research and find out exactly what’s happening and who you want to help. There are a lot of inaccurate sources regarding terrorism and such things. This will help focus your intent. 

A sigil would be easiest i think, though i find a ritual or spell usually generates more energy. You could create a sigil out of a simple phrase such as  ‘the civilians in areas effected by terrorism are safe’ or  escape easily if that’s what you’d like.

If you would like to perform a spell, gather:

- a photo or something of the place you’d like to protect, 

- herbs you associate with protection like nettles, walnut (or other nut) shells, aloe (can be used to add a healing element,)  amaranth (I’ve seen this written to be protection from bullets specifically,) angelica, birch, black pepper and maybe cayenne to give it some kick.

- if you make a sigil you can carve it into a white or maybe blue candle (calm, luck, will power/focus) For protection spells i like to have 3 candles, so that i can visualize myself + the candles forming a protective circle around my subject. 

You can ground/cleans however you like beforehand, place your subject (photo) and then light your centre candle, and then light the others from that candle, visualizing the light making it’s circle and protecting those within it. Then, if you have a walnut shell, or similar small, hard container (even a small metal container like an Altoids tin works, i wouldn’t use glass bc i associate it with fragility) put your photo in there, along with the other herbs, one by one, visualizing what you’d like each one to do in this spell. 

Once you’ve added everything you like, close your container, and seal with wax from your sigil-carved candle. (if it’s half a walnut shell, just pour the wax over the open side) And then you can blow out your candles and put the container in a few different places. My favourite would be in a fire, preferably if the wind is blowing in the direction your want your spell to be carried. Or if it’s completely biodegradable (bees wax used, not paraffin, and container being wooden or a nut shell) you can bury it on the furthest bit of your property that points to where you want the spell directed. If it’s not biodegradable, I’d put it in my house, in the furthest spot possible in the direction of the place you’re targeting. So If you’re in New York, and want to help people in Mexico (just an example,) you’d put your container in the most south/south west part of your house or property.

This is just a general protection/luck spell with the final placement added for direction, so you can of course tweak it to suit your needs.

i just binged your legacy over the course of. 2 days. maybe 3 and i've gotta say: showstopping marvelous incredible i'm in awe of the twists and the turns and every time i thought i couldn't be more in awe i got even more in awer. thank you so much for the love and work you put into all your sims it is so beautiful and i'm so happy i got to experience it!!! it's so inspiring and you've got me thinking about my own characters and how to tell their stories!! ok ill go binge your tutorials next

OOH, that is interesting... hmmm I wonder how much the writers (or writer, not sure if there’s one or several) are going to do with the fact that they’re all connected to cards, but this could tie in with that.
