GOSHHHH I LOVE THE DAROGA. The whole book reads like Leroux was considering writing a novel about the Persian chasing Erik, but decided that the final bit in Paris was worth writing its own book about and just gave up on the Daroga's novel.

HE’S SO GREAT!!! I would have absolutely read that novel.

I chose to believe that Erik’s death was fake (again) and the Daroga took him on a road trip with lessons on how to make friends and not murder people. Maybe they solve crimes; I would love to read about them solving crimes. (The Daroga is super into figuring out how things work and also helping people! Erik is the king of everything except Humaning! This will go great.)

OOOH AMAZING!! Is it the frog princess? (the book I had as a kid had an illustration of her with a crescent moon hair ornament) Will you be posting more on this project???

Ah, no it’s The Tale of the Tsar Saltan, and she’s a swan princess XD I think the crescent moon under the braid is something used a lot for beautiful magic ladies in different fairy tales. Yeah I think I’ll post more when I get around to drawing more

Thank you! I am planning to go see some Shakespeare and a musical! (Not at the same time though). Maybe get some friends to play board games. No particular exciting plans, really.

I wish I had the brainspace to write myself some fanfic; I may give it a go on Sunday if I get enough work done first.

Hooray! Everyone is welcome, of course! There’s nothing to join as of yet - I’ll have to put a proper plan together and pick a tag to post in. I’ll make an official post later, since it sounds like there are enough interested people to at least make a go of it.
