FOLD Webinar Presentation, "From Distributed Learning to Flipped Classroom by Dr. Larry Hopperton" (April 5, 2019)
Dr. Larry Hopperton, Director of Distributed Learning Technology at Tyndale, talks about Distributed Learning (March 29, 2019)
“I’m really proud to be part of Curtin Malaysia, a place I regard as my second home. Coming from Alor Setar, Kedah, this campus has given me the opportunity to get to know people from various ethnic backgrounds. There are so many high-achievers in our campus community with great aspirations for a really great campus, making working here most satisfying.
“Furthermore, technology in the classroom has done wonders in the way we learn and teach. With our modern distributed learning facilities, my students and I are able to connect in real time with our counterparts at Curtin University’s main campus in Perth. In conducting my Retail Marketing and Distribution unit, my students engage with students at the Perth campus to work on projects.
“The campus surroundings are also really lovely. My favourite spot is my office window where I can view the panoramic campus lake and at times, enjoy the sound of birds chirping in the morning.” -Dr Shamsul Kamariah, Acting Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business and senior lecturer in marketing
